PGD trial operation unit in Inner Mongolia add another new member

On the morning of October 29, a group of seven judges from the National Health Commission assisted reproductive Technology expert group accompanied by Qu Weihong, deputy director of the Maternal and child Department of the Health Commission of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, went to the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University to conduct on-site evaluation and guidance on the trial operation of the "Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis technology" of the Reproductive Medicine Center of Inner Mongolia Medical University.

After review, the affiliated hospital of inner Mongolia medical university has become one of the first medical organization in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to be approved for PGD trial operation, which will open a new milestone of PGD trial operation for the hospital. Lu Haiwen, vice President of Inner Mongolia Medical University and dean of inner Mongolian Medicine University, and Zhao Jianmin, vice President of Inner Mongolia Medical University participated in the activity, Qu Weihong chaired the meeting.


Qu Weihong gave a brief introduction to the review experts and procedures. She said that all the experts participating in the review were authoritative experts in the field of assisted reproduction in China. She hoped that valuable opinions could be obtained in the evaluation, which would promote the PGD technology development to a higher level in Inner Mongolia.


Lu Haiwen made a brief introduction to the hospital and reproductive center. As the first institution to carry out assisted reproductive technology in the District, the reproductive medicine center of the affiliated hospital has been in the leading position in the region after continuous development since its establishment in 2006. However, we also clearly realize that there is still a certain gap from the domestic advanced level. We hope to strengthen the exchange and study with experts through this review, further improve the technical level, and bring better services to the local people.



Liu Fang, chief physician of reproductive medicine center and head of PGT project, reported on behalf of reproductive medicine center on the development of assisted reproduction business and the preparatory work of PGT project of the affiliated hospital of Inner Mongolia medical university. After the report meeting, the review group visited the male and female clinic, embryo laboratory, sperm laboratory, molecular genetics laboratory and archives room of the reproductive center, and conducted inspection and guidance on ethics, medical records, rules and regulations, clinical diagnosis and treatment SOP, laboratory and nursing SOP, and put forward opinions and suggestions.


After comprehensive evaluation, the expert group gives a positive attitude towards the diagnosis and treatment environment, instruments and equipment, clinical, laboratory and professional level of the nursing team of the Reproductive Medicine Center. After discussion, the review group believed that the Reproductive Medicine Center of the affiliated hospital of Inner Mongolian medical university are qualified for PGT trial operation and passed the evaluation.
