To drive forward the promotion and clinical development of Reproductive Genetics Training Center, CAIBOCD and Basecare held the first training course about bioinformatics and genetics on October 18 in Suzhou. The 5-day training invited clinicians from all over the country who engaged in assisted reproduction to join in the learning activity of PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR, WES and CNV.
In response to the notice on planning and guidelines for the application of human assisted reproductive technology from the Office of the National Health Commission, this training was intended to help clinicians enhance their theoretical and practical ability of reproductive genetics. The training course included testing principles, experiment process, principle of bioinformatics analysis, data review, report interpretation and genetic counseling.
During the training, clinicians visited Basecare’s production and research base and experienced the practical experiments in the laboratory. They highly praised our training and instruction, with sincere wishes for our booming development.
Clinicians not only expressed their gratitude to us for this training opportunity, but also showed excitement of getting acquainted with peer doctors from all over the country. The training ended on October 22, but their joint belief of working hard for the development of China’s reproductive health cause will sustain.
This training is also Basecare’s action to fulfill its original aspiration and live up to the responsibility of a listed company. By means of detailed learning and practice, doctors had deepened their understanding of genetics and grasped the key knowledge of bioinformatics and genetics in PGT. Basecare will continue to hold more similar practice activities that can enable doctors to benefit patients longing for children. We will work together with clinicians to shoulder the historical responsibility of cultivating offspring for the nation’s future.
