Special Committee on Fertility and Reproduction of CAIBOCD held the first annual meeting, also the 22nd Chongqing ART Conference in Chongqing. The conference aims to improve the service capacity for fertility assessment, genetic counseling, fertility diagnosis, treatment and counseling in maternal and child health institutions at all levels, so as to raise fertility rate and prevent birth defects. Fertility experts from all over the country and around the world gathered for the warm discussion.

Basecare held a thematic meeting of “intelligent embryo storage” prior to the Chongqing ART Conference, to which representatives of many hospitals across the nation attended.
Professor Huang Guoning of Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children stressed the great significance of automated embryo storage for long-term development of assisted reproduction in his speech. “The automation development of embryo freezing should focus on size reduction, precision, standardization and full intelligence. For talents, we should pay more attention to ability than education background. I hope enterprises will work closer with reproductive centers and consider clinical demands more when developing products.” said professor Huang.
Later on, these experts visited the prototype room for intelligent embryo storage in Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children to learn about the cryogenic storage device, intelligent liquid nitrogen tank and embryo management system.
